Both more contemporary stories that fizzled at the boxoffice. Both were tony winning musicals. I did think heights was a little too blown up for the screen. Hansen had the right balance and really should have gotten a younger audience not scared of going to the movies. But it made $15m domestically and $18m with international. It cost a lot less than WSS which is pretty much ending up with similar numbers.
Of the three I liked Hansen the best. |
