| I said it after seeing the show at Playwright's and I'll say it again now ... I don't understand who the target audience for this show is. Pulitzer or no, I don't see the commercial viability of this at all. It's "BOOK OF MORMON" profanity without the built-in IP (of The Mormon Religion or 'South Park' creators), pop score, and colorful production. I remember this production being cold, a little hostile, unbalanced in tone and characterizations ... has that changed at all since DC? Production stills would indicate not. |
