MINOR SPOILERS!!!!

It is brilliantly produced, but the subject matter is very confusing. Following certain staff members, but not really giving them any sort of arc is confusing. What did the mother of the Sound Mixer think? I was very, very moved by the lead actor and stage manager who both had horrific experiences at The Public in the past and have found resolution with this production. The speech the stage manager gives at the first tech seemed very powerful for her story. And was it me, or did the director just seem like the nicest person in the world who just wanted to jump around for joy all day long? There is a great shot of him crying on a shoulder, but its so quick you might miss it. Not including any audiences responses or professional reviews of the production was a very smart choice so we focused on what I think the doc is about - making art in a difficult time.
