One of the co-founders of the NAACP, investigator of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, Moskowitz sounds like a remarkable person.
It was certainly a different time and city and who knows what Moskowitz' full story is but it is surprising to find that the Broadway League had progressive roots.
