Well, she openly admitted that after many years at the head of the Broadway League she doesn't understand how Broadway shows work (in the actual theatres). That's at least Not a Good Thing.
Someone in her position ought to understand the general shape of things, or at least have the sense not to speculate about the things they don't understand. Failing that, knowing that "I'm sorry I said that thing that sounded like I meant you weren't doing your job. It was because I don't understand what your job is." as a public apology isn't OK could be a minimum requirement, especially to people whose skills and talent and dedication are keeping shows up at the moment. |
