| Only yesterday, in a thread below, I was saying something about Sally Ann Howes being one of the people I never thought got quite as much recognition as she deserved. Tucker Smith was another, but in his case he never got anything remotely like the recognition he deserved. The first couple of times I saw the original West Side Story movie, long before the Internet Age, I remember thinking to myself when Ice came on in "Cool," both times, "Who is that??? God, he's good!" When IMDb came along I looked him up--and remembered his name. What a shame he passed before I even knew who he was. |
