| Even Babra Streisand did not use Ralph Burns orchestration for her 'single' of "People". Ray Ellis did that arrangement. Has there ever been another hit single , of a bway song, that used the original orchestrations.(the song was in my mind after watching the post of Sally Ann Howes sing said song.) |

| Collins did not use the exact show arrangement . Tunick made some changes for her version - including changing the opening solo line from a clarinet to an English horn. | |

| Merry Christmas to you as well! If you can find the published script to "A Little Night Music," Tunick has a wonderful essay included, about his approach to the show among other things, and he mentions the Collins version of "Clowns." |
