I could have sworn I remembered Alice Ghostley saying something like that in her unique way. As I remember it got a huge laugh and was a great exit line for Miss Hannigan.
This version sort of implied that she ended up with Bundles. Strange that they wanted her to have a good ending when she had been so awful to the kids. (The Carol Burnett version forgave her too. I think she appears riding an elephant at the end---as if that is a good thing?!)
When I saw it, Dorothy Loudon got such a huge laugh on "I never liked you" that I never knew there was any more to the line until years later when I read the script. (She gets dragged off during the line, so no time to pause for the laugh.)
