| Harvey was one of the last true troopers. He started very young, and was able to dance in "The Pajama Game" & "West Side Story" movies, ( he was a huge fan of Doris Day in his youth), right off the bat. Harvey loved all of the traditions of the theatre. He always tried to attend the Gypsy Robe Ceremonies on opening nights. Knowing him for many years, I never felt Harvey really appreciated his talents. You could get him to talk about his experiences, but he never boasted. I am so lucky to have known this very talented man. |
