| Do other masked crowds give you similar anxiety? I have no issues going to shows this week, but I will be avoiding restaurants or other settings where I can’t keep a mask on. It’s important to remember that the show cancellations have absolutely nothing to do with the audience and everything to do with cast members being required to isolate. Not even always because it is spreading amongst the cast (although that certainly appears to be the case in some shows). The number of folks I’ve known infected in the past two weeks continues to climb and climb - even amongst the most cautious. Avoiding this strain completely seems absolutely impossible for anyone that leaves their home or interacts with other people. |

| Very fair post. Too many people are comparing eating a full meal in a restaurant with sitting in a dark theater masked. From a contagion standpoint, the circumstances have little in common. I haven't been to a restaurant -- and then only quick meals in well-spaced interiors -- since before Thanksgiving. I attended my last show on the matinee of the 15th. I plan to go in January, but certainly measure new information on a day-to-day basis. I believe we can't really approach this Omicron wave with any fixed positions on personal boundaries with protocols. I may feel differently next week. Or tomorrow. | |

| If you and the person next you are wearing cloth masks, it's likely just as dangerous or worse than a restaurant. | |

| I’ve been happily wearing a KN95 to every show I’ve seen since broadway’s reopening. I actually find them more comfortable for multiple-hour use. | |
