| It means that if a "popular show" is going to close, Aladdin would be my choice. I can't imagine it's been doing well at the box office, especially starting in January. | |

| So you're specifically wishing that all the employees of Aladdin lose their jobs over the holidays? I know it's going to happen to one company regardless, but isn't it a bit cruel to be wishing for any particular show? | |

| When did I ever say I'm taking delight in a show closing? The poster said a show is going to close! I did not create the thread saying I hope a big Broadway hit will close. My point is if a show is closing, I'd prefer that a best Tony award winning and artistically fulfilling show like Hadestown not close compared to a Disney show like Aladdin. Is that so crazy? | |
