This is all correct (except your take on the CSC PO which I loved)! And probably why we shouldn't and won't get a recording. There's nothing about this production that distinguishes it from previous recordings and the songs are all presented fairly straight forwardly.
All that said... I thought the voices and the arrangements were QUITE lovely and I'd love to have a recording. I think it would likely be the one that I listened to most, particularly if the entire Oswald scene were recorded with the transition into Something Just Broke. |
