I recently caught Funny Girl's original Eddie Ryan in the 1961 late-noir film Blast of Silence. He plays the singer/bongo player in the nightclub scene. He comes off a bit shrill, truth be told, but I still appreciated getting a chance to see him.

I've seen some clips of him dancing from the original "Funny Girl" that pop up from time to time on YouTube, and he was quite a good song and dance man, with some very impressive dancing (and tumbling I think) skills.
