| I loved the tour in Boston too. My only reservation was that, even as wonderful as Nicholas Barasch was as Orpheus (and my god, he's only 23!), his approach to the highest notes was rather pushed in a way I didn't personally love. But then again, everyone's voice is different, and not everyone is going to have Carney's vocal approach. So I still come out of it saying that Barasch was quite good. And yes, I thought Kreis was excellent. |
