I really enjoyed John Doyle's CSC 2013 revival of ''Passion,'' so I'm glad there's a 2-CD recording of Judy Kuhn and Ryan Silverman.
Silverman made for a more forceful Giorgio, and received Drama Desk and Drama League nominations for his strong performance.
But I wasn't a fan of Doyle's 2017 ''Pacific Overtures,'' which he cut down to a one-act show (and dumped ''Chrysanthemum Tea''!).
However, the CSC cast sounded wonderful, and there are a couple of quick clips (like their ''Someone in a Tree'') up on YouTube. |
