I think the Armory is a horrible place to see a play unless you are willing to pay the higher prices. A cold, soulless venue. Having said that, I did see The Lehman Trilogy at the Armory and for some reason my reasonably priced seat turned out to be close to the stage. I occasionally had some obstruction because I was sitting to the right of the metal framework of the set. But for the most part I enjoyed the great acting though the third act did not engage me as much as the other two acts. I wasn’t planning on returning but I won the lottery for Saturday night so I will be seeing once again. I don’t know if the seat will be any good. Two other shows I saw at the Park Armory were very good but I was fairly far from the stage which I hated: The Hairy Ape and Branagh’s Macbeth.

Congratulations! I'm glad you won the lottery. The Lehman Trilogy is such an incredible play. When I won the lottery for it back on Sat., 10/09/21, I was seated in D 25 in the left mezzanine.
