.....in a clip from "The Dinah Shore Show." The Luddens performed "Bells Are Ringing" in stock -- so they were not only familiar with the song, but so well-suited to sing it to and with each other! This segment is simply delightful, and one can only hope Betty and Allen are once again harmonizing together in Heaven! (Hal Linden and wife Fran Martin also appear in this blurb.)

You may or may not know that Hal Linden was understudy to Sydney Chaplin and eventually took over the lead male role playing opposite Judy Holliday on Broadway in "Bells Are Ringing". Betty and Allen did a very nice job indeed.
