| Isaac Powell's mid-December knee injury postponed ''West Side Story's'' opening by 2 weeks. It opened Feb. 20, instead of Feb. 6. The delay cost Powell a deserved nomination, but I still think the Tony would've gone to Aaron Tveit, who, I believe, sings AND acts beautifully. ;) |

| The other major injury was Ben Cook, who left the production entirely after that. | |

| And Ben Cook can be seen as Mouthpiece, one of the Jets, in Spielberg's ''West Side Story.'' Can't miss him in ''Gee, Officer Krupke.'' | |
