I saw Cervantes at the Wednesday matinee, October 6th, so he was certainly playing (at least some) matinees in the early fall. He was stunning. I'd seen the great Javier Muñoz with the full original company and Lyn on Disney of course, but Cervantes is my favorite. Since he's in his 40s, he has to find another way into the youth of the Act One Alexander, and uses guilelessness and bravado winningly. His second act is, for me, perfection.

I have tickets for the 1/5 evening show, I've seen the show before, I specifically booked again once I knew he was rejoining the company. Here's hoping he will be in that evening.

I absolutely concur. His dynamic Hamilton is one of the finest performances I have seen on a New York stage.

I know I've mentioned this before, but some of us in the Boston area had the wonderful privilege of seeing Miguel perform here as a younger artist (and/or work with him, as I did). Always a major talent. And so proud of him now.

Cervantes reminted the role for me. Didn't think I had more to learn about the character, particularly in act two, but he brings a gravitas to the older Alexander -- delivering a stunning "Hurricane" -- that moved me to tears. The return was only my 2nd show back last fall, a birthday gift, and a genuinely thrilling afternoon.
