| Our dog was sick so we drove down to DC and back on the same day to catch this sold out show. One note is that these show was sold out but there were empty pairs of seats behind us on our side and in front. Want to say that I wished I could have enjoyed this show. My instincts tell me the the creator heard Cinderella and went on "trip" to build a show around it. Much of it works really well but, then it hits a wall, and overall it fails to satisfy as a stage show. I hope they continue to working on it. My instinct tells me that the book writer heard the song Cinderella, a lesser know Britney song, and went on "trip" to build a show around it. He's got to do more work and start with removing a few "hit songs" or use them as transitions between scenes to satisfy fans. |

| I agree. Right now it’s pretty weak (though it has entertaining moments). New York critics wouldn’t give this a pass on Broadway. I like the overall impulse to write a feminist view of fairy tales. But did the feminism have to be so on-the-nose and didactic? The fairy godmother is literally Betty Friedan and gives the princesses copies of “The Feminine Mystique.” Come on. |

| I saw it on Dec. 30 and enjoyed it, with reservations. In my opinion, it has too many characters (most of the princes have nothing much to do; Gretel, Goldilocks, and Little Red Riding Hood don’t fit the princess template) and drags on. Also, if it opens on Broadway I think it will suffer in comparison with Six. | |

| Like strange loop did, is probably a sign that it won’t transfer this spring. | |

| I don’t know why you’d say that. So much is dependent on theatre availability. For all we know they could be waiting for a show to post a closing notice in a Nederlander house (“Tina”)? I have no inside knowledge, but what theatre could they have taken at his point? “A Strange Loop” is in a totally different situation where a house like the Lyceum is the appropriate size. | |

| They could be waiting for a show to close. When it was planning a tryout in Chicago, the nederlsnder theater was announced for broadway. Do you still know nederlanders are involved since it’s in a nonprofit theater in dc? | |

| It costs no money to announce a "TBA" Broadway transfer. It has no bearing on whether a show will actually come in or not. | |

| I guess I don’t see what the point would be in this situation. Sure, if there’s a show at a regional theatre that has Broadway ambitions or one just arriving on people’s radars, it makes sense to announce their intentions, even without logistics in place. But this is a show originally set for the Marquis, and the Washington engagement has been touted as pre-Broadway. So in the absence of real news, like a theatre, dates, tickets on sale, what would be the point of a press release? What would it even say? “The show that we’ve always said is coming to Broadway is really still coming; details to be announced”? I guess they could, but it’d be pretty silly. Broadway could very well be off the table—for a number of reasons—but I’m not sure we can assume so because there hasn’t been a redundant announcement. I think it’s not an unreasonable assumption that “Tina” may post a closing, and then we’ll hear plans for “Once Upon a…” to take the Lunt-Fontanne. But that’s just speculation, and anything can happen. We’ll see soon enough. |

| I don't think there's a Nederlander Theatre available this season. Billy Crystal's show will probably be a limited run at The Nederlander. If so, it could open on Broadway for Spring 2023 at The Nederlander. |
