Our dog was sick so we drove down to DC and back on the same day to catch this sold out show. One note is that these show was sold out but there were empty pairs of seats behind us on our side and in front.
Want to say that I wished I could have enjoyed this show.
My instincts tell me the the creator heard Cinderella and went on "trip" to build a show around it. Much of it works really well but, then it hits a wall, and overall it fails to satisfy as a stage show.
I hope they continue to working on it. My instinct tells me that the book writer heard the song Cinderella, a lesser know Britney song, and went on "trip" to build a show around it. He's got to do more work and start with removing a few "hit songs" or use them as transitions between scenes to satisfy fans. |
