| I don’t know why you’d say that. So much is dependent on theatre availability. For all we know they could be waiting for a show to post a closing notice in a Nederlander house (“Tina”)? I have no inside knowledge, but what theatre could they have taken at his point? “A Strange Loop” is in a totally different situation where a house like the Lyceum is the appropriate size. | |

| They could be waiting for a show to close. When it was planning a tryout in Chicago, the nederlsnder theater was announced for broadway. Do you still know nederlanders are involved since it’s in a nonprofit theater in dc? | |

| It costs no money to announce a "TBA" Broadway transfer. It has no bearing on whether a show will actually come in or not. | |

| I guess I don’t see what the point would be in this situation. Sure, if there’s a show at a regional theatre that has Broadway ambitions or one just arriving on people’s radars, it makes sense to announce their intentions, even without logistics in place. But this is a show originally set for the Marquis, and the Washington engagement has been touted as pre-Broadway. So in the absence of real news, like a theatre, dates, tickets on sale, what would be the point of a press release? What would it even say? “The show that we’ve always said is coming to Broadway is really still coming; details to be announced”? I guess they could, but it’d be pretty silly. Broadway could very well be off the table—for a number of reasons—but I’m not sure we can assume so because there hasn’t been a redundant announcement. I think it’s not an unreasonable assumption that “Tina” may post a closing, and then we’ll hear plans for “Once Upon a…” to take the Lunt-Fontanne. But that’s just speculation, and anything can happen. We’ll see soon enough. |

| I don't think there's a Nederlander Theatre available this season. Billy Crystal's show will probably be a limited run at The Nederlander. If so, it could open on Broadway for Spring 2023 at The Nederlander. |
