Appreciation post for Telecharge CS

We often quick to write a complaint/dissatisfaction comment/post but I want to write a positive feedback post about Telecharge customer services. I canceled my trip to NYC and had The Music Man ticket for 1/8 that my friend bought at the box office. Interestingly even though the ticket was paid at the box office, they did not issue a paper ticket and said you'd get an eticket via email, which came around two weeks before the performance date.

I contacted at Telecharge CS email addy explained the situation and asked if I could get a refund. Initially, I was told that if the ticket was purchased at the box office, you need to get the refund there. I said I'm from out of state and if I could go to the BO I would, but is there anything they could do, plus the ticket was emailed, so I don't have a paper ticket. Then the same CS agent (Joe) said he'd contact the box office to see what he could do. Then the next email he asked my phone number. I gave it to him and he called me to get the order ID. He could look up the transaction and read out the name of the purchaser (my friend). He said he'd process the refund request and I'd get an email later. The email actually went to my friend (because that they had in the original transaction) and refund was issued.

I'm extremely satisfied how they handled my request. I hope to visit NYC once COVID surge settled!

I have had only positive experiences with Telecharge, especially lately when staff must be under a lot of pressure. Yes, sometimes wait times to speak to a representative are a bit long, but once you’re connected, reps are knowledgeable, friendly, patient and extremely helpful … very different customer service experience from other ticketing services.

Telecharge has been helpful except for the days after December 25 I couldn’t get through for several hours.

I would second the compliment to the Customer Service Unit of Telecharge, especially that I am from overseas. In one of the issues that I have reached out to them re the online system not working properly ( it wouldn't process the transaction for out -of- the- country transactions ) I was immediately referred to the proper IT personnel who could help me. The same IT personnel helped me on another issue ( the MY ACCOUNT page does not recognize transactions done via CS-Telecharge - he pointed me to the Order Status feature on the Main page).Other occasions where issues were brought to their attention ( via email/telephone), especially during the long pandemic hiatus, that were resolved to my satisfaction.

I concur. I spoke with someone last week about exchanging my 1/28 Music Man ticket for a date in April. The representative was most helpful and extremely friendly.

I agree. I’ve had multiple pleasant interactions. One that stands out was while on a bus from Philly to NYC to see King Lear with Glenda Jackson. The bus broke down and it became clear we were not going to make the curtain. I called Telecharge and the customer rep informed me that only the box office could approve a refund/exchange, so I asked her for the number and instead she called the box office for me and arranged an exchange.
