We often quick to write a complaint/dissatisfaction comment/post but I want to write a positive feedback post about Telecharge customer services. I canceled my trip to NYC and had The Music Man ticket for 1/8 that my friend bought at the box office. Interestingly even though the ticket was paid at the box office, they did not issue a paper ticket and said you'd get an eticket via email, which came around two weeks before the performance date.
I contacted at Telecharge CS email addy explained the situation and asked if I could get a refund. Initially, I was told that if the ticket was purchased at the box office, you need to get the refund there. I said I'm from out of state and if I could go to the BO I would, but is there anything they could do, plus the ticket was emailed, so I don't have a paper ticket. Then the same CS agent (Joe) said he'd contact the box office to see what he could do. Then the next email he asked my phone number. I gave it to him and he called me to get the order ID. He could look up the transaction and read out the name of the purchaser (my friend). He said he'd process the refund request and I'd get an email later. The email actually went to my friend (because that they had in the original transaction) and refund was issued.
I'm extremely satisfied how they handled my request. I hope to visit NYC once COVID surge settled! |
