| I saw this on a huge screen at Alice Tully Hall in NYC last September. The cinematography was impressive. But I found the whole movie kind of deadly and pretentious. I thought having Macbeth and Lady Macbeth pretty much die off camera was a cop out. Give me Throne of Blood anyway. | |

| They didn't even show the wood moving toward the castle (at least, not from Macbeth's perspective. There were some interesting ... choices. Not what I would have done. And why was the set apparently designed by Giorgio de Chirico? | |
