I don't know if its visually qualities could be appreciated on the small screen. It is really stunning to see (in a good way), but very odd in other ways. I've never felt it was all that fun to watch someone who is high when you're not.
I was never bored, the cast is terrific, the score is a quite good one, and I'm very, very glad I saw it.
