Go to https://2st.com/ and select simulcast tickets. It costs $65 for one performance.
I watched yesterday. Two understudies were in. I believe one of them was Kevin Kenerly (apologies if I got that wrong) and his speaking voice is the kind you want to hear read the phone book.
I believe you have to watch it real time. I did. The play started at least 15 minutes late. (Is that true of many shows these days due to covid protocols?)
A couple days ago someone compared it to a sitcom. That seems a little dismissive but I also was not as moved as Jesse Green was. Still, to watch a current Broadway show from home was nice, particularly during omicron and the play held my interest. And to discover a new actor I want to see in the future… well, all in all it was money well spent. |
