| stated slightly differently, just because a covid infection loses its epidemiological significance (i.e., the person is no longer contagious) does not mean that the person is suddenly well. Some people have lingering symptoms (taken to unfortunate extreme by "Long Covid"). Particularly for someone who is expected to sing and dance, recovery might take more than 5-10 days. And considering that performers have "assets" that require careful attention, not everyone is going to risk long term damage because the show must go on. |
