I don't know. If the artistic director went to the pains of making the announcement then maybe it IS returning? I didn't see it but I did see wonder.land (was that its name?). That one's charms eluded me, as well. Another Rufus Norris creation.

After three rather glorious regimes under Eyre, Nunn and Norris, the current vibe- or the vibe two years ago when I last attended- seems less consistently great. Of course he's been battling challenges that those other three never had to deal with. Hopefully as COVID recedes, the programming will improve. (I'm rather excited about Nicola Walker in The Corn is Green.)

Regardless of momentary slumps, the NT is still the best theatre in the world :).
