Mr. Poitier appeared on Broadway in "Lysistrata", "Anna Lucasta" and quite famously in "A Raisin in the Sun" then moved on to movie stardom, directing and diplomatic work. What a wonderful career this gentleman had! Rest in peace. Hearing the "Amen" song from his Oscar-winning role in "Lilies of the Field" right now.
