Public Theater vaccination policy

I got a notice today from the Public stating that its admission policy going forward would be that you muxt have a complete series of vaccinations and, if eligible, a booster shot. There was no mention of a negative test. Does anyone know if the previous policy of having a negative test in the 24 hour period before attendance was ever enforces e.g at Joe's Pub? It seems to have been an unwise decision given the difficulty of obtaining tests and tests results.

if you dig down in the announcement, you will find the information that the dumb testing policy is being retired with the advent of this new policy. If you can't find it, I'll dig it up for u

"Negative COVID tests for audience members, including children, will not be accepted as an alternative to vaccination proof. The Public has ended its additional Negative COVID test requirement, initially implemented on December 17, as of January 21, 2022, when this new policy goes into effect. "

Thank you. (I would have been really impressed had they actually said "dumb policy.")
