It's more like Fantasia, with the colors and heightened/surreal imagery. Even one of the writers in the LIncoln Center magazine that you can pick up in the lobby -- in a piece where several writers describe their experiences with LSD -- says she did it many times and never once "saw something that wasn't there."
My experience exactly from my peer pressured drug experimenting youth: heightened colors, forms and imagery. However, there was a good twenty years, from around the 1950s to the 1970s, of controlled experiments by psychiatrists in university settings and I believe US government institutional settings that studied LSD for all sorts of therapeutic and coercive possibilities. |
