An excellent documentary. Often uncomfortable and frequently moving. In addition to Waitress, Shelly was a frequent performer in the Off-Off Broadway scene of the 1990s. Her last stage appearance as an actor, I believe, was a play with The New Group called Paradise Island in 2001.
