The last time I heard, movies are allowed to submit only 2 songs for Oscar consideration, so I imagine Miranda was consulted about this. I'm guessing he only chose one (the pretty and plaintive ''Dos Oruguitas''), instead of two to avoid having two ''Encanto'' songs split votes. Plus, who could've predicted just how popular ''We Don't Talk About Bruno'' would be, let alone take the No. 1 spot in the Billboard 200?
