Recent James Bond songs have won at the Oscars (like ''Skyfall'' and ''Writing's on the Wall'), so ''No Time to Die'' probably has the edge.
But for the record, a Spanish-language song has won the Oscar: Jorge Drexler's ''Al otro lado del rio'' from ''The Motorcycle Diaries'' (2004).
It beat out ''Learn to Be Lonely,'' Andrew Lloyd Webber and Charles Hart's new song for ''The Phantom of the Opera'' (which I preferred). |
