I was lucky to see Senator Robert Kennedy at a rally in Philadelphia before being sent to Vietnam by the Army. Kennedy was assinated in California about a month later.
As awful as it was, at the time it is difficult to to have any perspective.
At least when President Kennedy was assinated, there was a vice president. |
