I agree that often "her public responses are now so manufactured and mechanical." In this case, there really were no questions for her to answer. Other than the one you mention, the questions were so basic and they were so few of them. It was nice to see her, but this felt like a missed opportunity.

It's really shocking and sad to see Liza Minnelli in such frail and fragile condition, but then it's good that she is still able to give an interview and have a project like the Gershwin recording to work on. I loved her noteworthy stage, film, and TV performances from the time I was a teen. Of course, I idolized her mother and father.

I was fortunate enough to see her on stage in Liza's at the Palace in Dec., 2008. She was in fine voice, vibrant, sparkling, just quintessential Liza. I enjoyed her knockout featured star turn in the Sex and the City 2 2010 film.

Hang in there, Miz Minnelli!

I was fortunate to see her at Radio City. Must have been the very early 90s, as she opened the second act with Losing My Mind from her Results album produced by The Pet Shop Boys. The album was relatively new at the time.

She was at the height of her powers. Not only her voice, but the way she moved on stage was incredible.
