I find it interesting that this show (which I panned at its world premiere production at La Jolla Playhouse) continues to have a life. Ms. Osnes was paired with Stark Sand, unhappily, in that production. See my TB Regional review in the link below.

Apparently, your colleagues had a higher opinion of that La Jolla Playhouse production. At its 2009 awards, the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle gave ''Bonnie & Clyde'' 5 Craig Noel prizes: Outstanding New Musical; Jeff Calhoun, Outstanding Director of a Musical; John McDaniel, Outstanding Musical Direction; Laura Osnes, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical, and Melissa Van Der Schyff, Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.

I picked up a last minute ticket one night at TKTS (a great front ctr mezz seat) and enjoyed myself.

Confession: it's the only Wildhorn show I've seen.
