| With all the talk recently about Swings and Understudies stepping into additional roles they don't usually cover, I stumbled on a mention I thought you all may be interested in. Apparently, Sandy Redd who is usually in the Ensemble of the current Jesus Christ Superstar tour, went on as JUDAS this past weekend. Have any of you ever seen a female Judas? |

| It's certainly been done. I've seen a few productions cast that way. About a year ago, there was a concept album with Shoshana Bean as Judas. In fact, that album was an all-female cast. Interestingly, this tweet says "1st Female Judas On Broadway EVER", which isn't accurate, of course. This is a tour. (The tour where their original Judas was arrested for entering the Capitol on Jan 6!) |

| I noticed that it said Broadway too. I wonder if this is the first time a MAJOR production had a female play the role. As for the album you mentioned, I LOVE it. It comes up quite a bit when I have my music library on shuffle |
