| I know from my own Mom's passing that in NYS when someone is over 60 with a history of heart issues (Sondheim did), an autopsy is not required if either a person's doctor or the coroner deems the circumstances consistent with a heart attack. I know he died in Connecticut. I assume they may have similar rules. If so, we may never know a precise cause of death. |
