| I'm grateful that ''CBS Sunday Morning'' spotlighted James Hong (in a segment produced by Gabriel Falcon), but I wish they could've included at least one younger Asian-American actor who could've expressed what Hong's career and legacy has meant to them. A terrific choice would've been Daniel Dae Kim (from TV's ''Lost'' and ''Hawaii Five-O''); he helped get Hong on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (where he'll join other Asian-American acting pioneers, like Anna May Wong, Philip Ahn and George Takei). Plus, Kim is an alumni of East West Players, as well as Kal Penn and B.D. Wong. |
