The other alternative, of course, is that a review need not be posted immediately. A critic can have as long as they wish to submit their review, and may even augment what their first post if they wish. There is no such thing as a reverse embargo. And if some publication wants the review posted after the first night, then they can buy the critic a ticket. In the context of what has transpired here, I doubt many publications are that worried about getting the review up asap.
I don't think we've heard the end of this, and I think we will hear some things that have yet to suggested here.
