| As an arranger, I don't think Katrina is well served here. The arrangements for her songs should have been built around the very specific sound of her voice. Instead, she's asked to belt her songs in a matter similar to the original show, and she doesn't have the chops for that. The result is that she sounds as though she's not up to the task. But she has a wonderful voice, and the arrangements should have been rewritten to bring her unique qualities out. |
