Oh, I'm sure you're right about that. This is a production that played on Broadway, and I imagine the experience is largely the same.
But to boast that it's the longest-running Broadway play is a very specific metric that speaks to an audience-pleasing show that has run for years on Broadway. Not true. It had to move to a cheaper environment in order to survive. (I mean it no disrespect in saying that, just fact.) To claim it's the longest-running Broadway play in incontrovertibly untrue. |
