When they first announced they were going "secret," I said It would blow up in their face. It is no mystery how they got the data. The only mystery to me is why it has taken so long to see it. There are dozens of p[eople on every show who get the numbers as a matter of contract, either because they are royalty participants or because they are producers or general managers. And bear in mind it is not the producers themselves who crunch numbers; it's someone who is paid not-very-much to do the grunt work. There are no secrets on Broadway and only a naive fool would think there are.
