| I saw him in an unusual production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" in the late 1980s, where all of the characters were cast with actors in in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. Mr. Carpenter played Linus and was about 62 at the time. Other cast members included: Charlie Brown (Larry Hovis), Lucy (Joanne Worley), Patty (Marcia Wallace), Schroeder (Billy Barnes), and Snoopy (Jack Fletcher). It was fun to see these roles played by old pros. |
