Absolutely...when you look at what people who work in the offices that make Broadway tick actually earn, it's only surprising that we don't hear more "secret" stuff.
When I heard this, I just assumed that some low level person at a desk whose name nobody will ever know, but who works more than full time for 35K in New York got screamed at for something and released the info in retaliation.
These people are making it work because they love the theatre...but even love has limits.
