IIRC Corden was rumored to be returning to Broadway in a revival of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM until his television show happened and he opted to move to LA and do that instead.
FORUM seems like a terrific vehicle for his talents and it's been 25+ years since the last revival. Maybe he'll circle back to it at some point.
