Covid and THE MUSIC MAN
Posted by: Clancy 03:56 pm EST 02/02/22

The Times has a brief oral history of the preview period of 'The Music Man' and how the creatives, cast, and crew dealt with Covid. The photos of Foster and Jackman are charming.

An interesting takeaway is Zaks saying he wasn't able to make the cuts and changes he wanted until the end of January.

Some folks on this board who have already seen the show complained about it being too long and there being too much dancing.

I saw it mid-January and will hopefully see it again the week of the 14th, so if appropriate will report back on any cuts or changes I'm able to notice.
