| Having been born in the mid-20th Century, I was fortunate to hear countless stories of the world of Industrials, from my mother's brother (Bill Heyer), who was a former musician and singer on Broadway and then morphed into industrial writing. The documentary is important, as so few people even knew about industrials. For me, I was well versed in the sub-cultured biz. I know that he wrote one with Dorothy Louden, as they were "friends" and at the moment, I can't think of any other performers, though when you are a starry-eyed pubescent, any show biz stories he shared would catch my immediate attention. As for the book-it is a nice keepsake, though not worth $446. Try eBay! |
